Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student at Northwestern University. Anna began her professional career in Chicago-area theatres for a few years. Then she moved to film and television. Anna's first big role was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. After guest appearances as a Actor in a variety of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 1990's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. Skyler appeared on screen in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn has also appeared on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered set in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and final break-up echoes the final years in Walter White's story.
