Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. Then she began moving to Texas in search of the field of physical therapy in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas and moved in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles that included local independent films as well as international commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love to perform, despite small roles. She moved from New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. De La Garza received several nominations for her character including Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, De La Garza received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Deko as well as the wife of David Caruso's character Horatio. She was Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Milano. She is from Italian heritage and is the younger sister of Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. From more than 1,000 candidates her name was picked among only four. Milano was featured in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
