Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, popularly referred to as Ashanti was born on 13 October the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti became famous as an 18-year-old and was signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. Ashanti was featured in the Fat Joe's What's Luv?
